In addition to our relaxation treatments, the Spa Centrale Parc now offers a specialized therapeutic treatment adapted to your body, to relieve your muscular, articular and tissue pain or physiological problems (tendinitis, sprain, migraine, backaches, scars, postural disorders, stress).
Fascias are tissues that envelop and interfere with all body structures (muscles, bones, organs, nerves, vessels). By following the movement of these tissues, the therapist points out areas of tension and by different techniques : the subtle facials, he facilitates the release of these tensions, both physical and mental. It is a therapy that listens to the body as a whole for physical fitness and mental wellbeing.
The therapist will work on one or two specific areas to improve range of motion and relieve muscle tension. The treatment begins with an interview and a postural analysis which will help to understand the origin of the problem. The physiotherapist will then warm up the muscles using massage and decongestion techniques before doing numerous passive and active mobilizations.
This practice is based on in-depth knowledge of the health sciences and of the interactions specific to the body's equilibrium.
Thanks to fine and precise palpation, a complete and global assessment enables the cause of neuro-musculo-skeletal, visceral and cranial dysfunctions to be investigated. Each osteopathic treatment is specific and individualized.
Dress comfortably and casually. Ideally, you should be in shorts and a bra (or yoga gear) so that the therapist can observe your posture. This way, he or she can see the condition of your skin, how your body adapts in a space, and a host of other factors that can influence your condition.
The initial assessment
Lasting 60 minutes, the initial assessment includes an “interview” part lasting around ten minutes, during which the osteopath will ask you about your state of health, the reason for your visit, as well as your medical and traumatic history (car accidents, cycling accidents, falls, previous injuries, etc.) to get a clear picture of the problem.
The osteopath will then carry out an overall physical assessment, including observations and standing, sitting and lying tests.
Finally, the osteopath will treat the patient using different manual techniques depending on the problems identified during the assessment.
Don't hesitate to ask our osteopath questions for more information.
